Find a Device

Step 1

Log into the PortalFuse dashboard. First, open the app https://yourtenant.portalfuse.io

Click ‘Devices’ in the left-hand menu.

Step 2

Next, search for a device of interest using either the search field or one of the global filters.

Alternatively, you can use a column filter and/or a column sort to refine devices displayed in the data frame.

Step 3

When you have identified a device of interest, activate the “expand” icon located to the left of the device’s name.

Once selected, the row container will expand and reveal more details about that device. On the main row for a device, you can view the following core device details:

  • Device Name
  • User Principal Name
  • Management Name
  • OS
  • OS Version
  • Last check-in
  • Enrollment
  • Compliance (global) – if any configuration profile or policy is not compliant, Compliance is set to False

You can access all core hardware properties from here. The following hardware properties are available:

  • Id
  • Device Name
  • OS
  • OS Version
  • Compliant
  • Manufacturer
  • Model
  • Serial Number
  • Total storage
  • Free storage
  • IMEI
  • MEID
  • Subscriber carrier
  • Cellular technology
  • WiFi MAC

Below the core device details are 3 additional buttons that allow you to view key relationships of that device.

  1. View Assigned Groups
  2. View Assigned Polices
  3. View Remote Action History – all remote actions are logged so that you can audit and evaluate the progress of remote actions. Due to the nature of the Graph API and Intune, some remote actions can take a long time to complete.
